Supplemental Emergency Eye Wash Stations

Converts Any Faucet into an Emergency Eye Wash Station without Interfering with Normal Faucet Operation

  • Install near areas where accidents may occur
  • Delivers a soft, aerated flow of water to gently rinse eyes
  • Two styles of adjustable head angles allow full coverage and avoid splashing:
    - For standard faucets: 3" head distance with direct water flow
    - For gooseneck faucets: 5" head distance with inward-angled water flow
  • Each unit is completely assembled and water-tested prior to shipment
  • Features float-off dust covers to protect outlet heads
  • Includes ANSI-compliant sign designating Emergency Eye Wash
  • Valve is forged brass
  • Easy to install on most faucets, including labs - Body has 55/64"-27 female thread, with three adaptors (15/16"-27, 13/16"-27 and 3/8" IPS)
  • Bottom has removable aerator with 3/8" IPS female thread adaptor for installing serrated hose end
  • 2 year warranty

How the Supplemental Emergency Eye Wash Station Works:

  1. Turn on cool or warm water. Note: do not use hot water, as it may scald
  2. Pull knob to activate eye wash. Water pressure holds eye wash in operation, keeping hands free.
  3. Push knob or turn off faucet to return to normal faucet operation.

Note: Because the Supplemental Emergency Eye Wash Station requires two motions to activate water flow (turn on water, pull knob to activate unit), it does not meet the provisions of ANSI Z358.1-2004 as an eye wash unit. This product is intended to augment dedicated, plumbed equipment.
